Abtadka Auto has found that the BAAS option will now be available in variants of the Be 6 Sporteq, xev 9s and xev 9e, which reduces their initial prices by separating vehicle and battery finance.

For the Bass, the structure provides separate financing for the vehicle and the battery. Mahindra says this reduces the initial cost of buying an electric SUV, while the battery is offered with a loan with an effective usage cost starting at Rs 3.70 per km of range.

Battery EMI/usage cost depends on battery size, down payment and loan tenure. BaaS is a dual-financing product, not simply a pay-per-km battery rental.
The Mahindra baas BE 6 Sportec is now available at Rs 11.50 lakh, and the XEV 9s and XEV 9e have a starting price of Rs 12.60 lakh and this ex-showroom price is Rs 13.95 lakh and is financed separately, excluding the cost of the battery.
Mahindra has received a strong response to the launch of the BASS program, which has led the company to expand its flagship electric SUV and initially low-cost EV ownership, making it much easier for buyers to manage their finances.
Mahindra is the company’s bass model that offers a dual-loan finance product and pays for every use. Battery EMI starts at Rs. 6,970 and starts at Rs. 3.70 per km based on 65 km of daily usage and down payment. Battery EMI depends heavily on battery capacity. Down payment does not include charger, road tax, insurance, TCS and other applicable security charges over the loan term.
Mahindra currently offers the BE6 Sported, Xev 9s and Xev 9e, part of its electric SUV range, with BAAS now available and the company is making electric SUVs and bringing down the purchase cost considerably.
