Tata Tiago Facelift Interior Unveiled 2026

Tata Tiago Facelift Interior Unveiled – All Top Features Explained

The interior of the 2026 Tata Tiago in its ICE and electric variants gets notable changes with new feature additions

Tata Motors has officially revealed the interior of the 2026 Tiago facelift ahead of its May 28 launch, and the cabin has been substantially reworked compared to the outgoing model. The images show a completely redesigned dashboard layout that carries a dual screen setup – a wide landscape oriented infotainment display on the left and a separate digital instrument cluster on the right, both floating above a clean dashboard surface finished in a two tone grey and black treatment.

The infotainment unit visible in the images shows Android Auto running on what appears to be a 10.25-inch wide display positioned horizontally across the upper dashboard. The instrument cluster sits separately to the right – a smaller rectangular digital unit displaying speed, battery or fuel status and basic vehicle information. The overall dashboard architecture is noticeably more modern than the outgoing Tiago with cleaner lines and fewer cluttered controls.

Below the infotainment screen, the climate control panel retains physical rotary dials labelled Tiago. Two pads are visible in the centre console area accommodating two phones simultaneously and one of them appears to be a wireless smartphone charger. The centre console is clean and open too with a cup holder likely positioned at the base between the front seats.

The second image shows the cabin from the front passenger side, revealing a fabric wrapped upper dashboard panel in light grey – a material choice that softens the interior visually and adds a more premium texture than the plastic heavy finish of the outgoing model. The infotainment display appears to be on a slightly angled mount making it more accessible to both driver and front passenger.

The rear cabin images show a three seat bench in a light grey and dark grey two tone combination, with a folding centre armrest – an addition that is absent from the current Tiago. The rear seat also appears to have a charging port. Other highlights are paddle shifters in the automatic trim and a revised centre console.

The 2026 Tiago facelift launches next week with pricing expected from around Rs 5.20 lakh ex showroom for the ICE variants. The Tiago EV facelift is expected to be availabls with the 24 kWh and new 30 kWh battery options.

A few days after showing us the completely redesigned exterior of the facelifted Tata Tiago, Tata Motors has now officially revealed the hatchback’s interior ahead of its May 28 launch.

The Tiago’s cabin has always been functional and practical, but it never really felt special. This new interior changes that with a redesigned dashboard, a new floating digital instrument cluster, dual mobile phone trays and a much cleaner overall layout. Tata seems to have focused heavily on making the Tiago feel more contemporary inside, while still keeping everyday usability intact.

Here’s everything new on the 2026 Tiago facelift’s cabin:

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Dashboard Layout

Tata has completely redesigned the layout and gone with a cleaner, straighter horizontal design theme running across the width of the cabin. The black-and-grey dual-tone finish continues from the outgoing model, but the new layered layout and textured inserts make the interior feel significantly more premium than before.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: New Screens

One of the standout upgrades is the new free-standing digital instrument cluster positioned behind the steering wheel. Unlike the older integrated unit, the new display now sits separately and gives the cabin a far more modern appearance.

The 10.25-inch floating infotainment touchscreen also continues, and while the size appears similar to the outgoing version, the surrounding dashboard architecture now looks cleaner and more premium.

Together, both screens make the Tiago’s cabin feel noticeably more tech-focused than before.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Steering Wheel & Cabin Finish

The Tiago continues with Tata’s familiar two-spoke steering wheel design, although the buttons now appear slightly revised.

One interesting design detail is the glossy piano black treatment around the centre console and window switch areas, which looks visually premium and somewhat inspired by the newer Tata Sierra design direction.

That said, gloss black finishes are also notorious for attracting fingerprints and scratches rather quickly, so long-term usability remains to be seen.

Still, the overall cabin ambience now feels significantly richer than before, especially for a hatchback in this price range.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Physical AC Controls Return

In an era where manufacturers are increasingly moving everything into touchscreens, Tata has actually done something that we genuinely appreciate.

The facelifted Tiago replaces the older touch-based AC controls with proper tactile buttons and dual rotary knobs for the HVAC system. Not only does this look cleaner, but it should also make the system far easier to use while driving.

Honestly, this is one of those small changes that makes a surprisingly big difference in day-to-day usability.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Centre Console & Storage

The centre console has been completely redesigned as well.

Instead of the conventional gear lever seen earlier, the Tiago AMT now gets a rotary drive selector, similar to what we’ve seen on Tata’s newer EVs. It instantly makes the cabin feel fresher and more premium.

The teaser also reveals:

  • Dual phone charging trays
  • Two USB Type-C charging ports
  • Floating centre console design

Interestingly, Tata could be offering dual wireless charging trays for the first time in this segment, although one tray may simply function as a dedicated phone holder instead of a second charger.

Either way, it is a genuinely thoughtful touch for an affordable hatchback.

Paddle shifters can also be spotted in the teaser, confirming that automatic variants will continue to be part of the lineup.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Seats & Rear Comfort

The front seats now get a centre armrest along with dual seatback pockets, helping improve everyday practicality.

At the rear, Tata has added:

  • Rear AC vents
  • Rear charging ports
  • Dual-tone fabric upholstery

Rear seat comfort should continue to remain suitable for two adults, especially for city usage. However, the Tiago still misses out on a rear centre armrest, which would have further improved long-distance comfort.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Expected Features

Based on what is visible in the teaser, the facelifted Tiago is expected to come loaded with features for its segment.

The hatchback will likely continue with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the cabin also gets a new floating digital instrument cluster that makes the interior feel significantly more modern than before.

Other expected features include dual mobile phone trays, rear AC vents, USB Type-C charging ports, push-button start, automatic climate control, cruise control and auto-folding ORVMs. The teaser also strongly hints at the inclusion of a 360-degree camera system, which could make the Tiago one of the most affordable hatchbacks in India to offer such technology. In terms of safety, Tata could potentially introduce six airbags as standard with the facelift, although the brand has yet to officially confirm it.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior: Powertrain

Mechanically, the Tiago facelift is expected to remain unchanged.
