New Turbo Petrol Engine
A major update will be made under the hood. The new Brezza is expected to borrow the 1.0L turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine from the Fronx, which is good enough for 100bhp and 147Nm of torque. This motor will be paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options might also be carried forward.

Underbody CNG Tank
Similar to the current model, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will be available with a factory-fitted CNG powertrain. However, it’s expected to come with an underbody-mounted CNG tank, which will free up more usable boot space.
